latest availability and pricing…
What’s included
…
- Oil
fired central heating generously set on a timer to suit the
season. The boiler is a combination type so there is hot
water on demand at any time of the day.
- An
initial supply of logs for the wood burner.
- Bed
linen, pillows, duvet and personal towels.
Occupancy …
- Arrival is from 3pm and the cottage must be
vacated by 10 am on your last day.
- The
cottage sleeps 2 adults in a 5ft king size bed. If you have an infant less than 12
months of age they will be most welcome but we cannot provide a cot or
any other baby equipment. We must stress that due to the layout of the
cottage it really is only suited to babies who are not yet fully
mobile. If you are bringing a baby please advise us when booking.
- We
are sorry, but no pets. Strictly no smoking inside the
cottage please.
- Weekly bookings are from Saturday to Saturday but
during the off peak season we can be flexible regarding weekly start
dates so please do enquire. We
offer short breaks throughout the year except during the months of
July and August. Our minimum booking is for 3 nights.
Payment …
- A
non-returnable deposit of £100 is required at the time of
booking. The balance is payable in full not later than 6 weeks
prior to the start of your stay. If you book your stay less than 6 weeks from its
start the cost is due in full at the time of booking.
- Payment
is in sterling by cheque unless there is insufficient time to clear a
cheque, in which case payment will be in cash on arrival.
- Bookings will be held for
5 days from the date of acceptance and must be confirmed within this
time by the return of a completed booking contract together with a
deposit or full payment, whichever is appropriate. If payment is
not received within this time we reserve the right to offer the dates
to other enquirers.
A note about mobile phones …
- There
is no mobile phone signal within the cottage itself but most networks
can receive a signal within a short walking distance. If you are booking to stay and need
to leave an emergency contact number, for example for use at night,
you are most welcome to give our land line number and we will pass on
any messages.
